UK Rides were invited to the launch event for Knightmare, as a member and the owner of UK Rides Col, being a good friend, I was also invited along. This would also be the first time I'd ever met with a roller coaster group. A lot of fun!

My first ride on Knightmare was with Col on the first train out, after the ribbon had been cut. We sat at the back. My Mum, Linda was on the next train out.

I must say a huge thank you to Camelot and Colin for making it all possible.

It was cool to meet everyone too. Everyone played their part to make the day very special. Everyone was down to earth and had a sense of humour. A great bunch. Thanks for the memories.

Camelot staff was very nice indeed, they couldn't do enough to help, they really did look after us all day. They all spoke perfect english and sense. A breath of fresh air to see staff smiling and enjoying their jobs. Free cookies, muffins and hot chocolate. Free entry, you just got to tip your hats and say thanks.

There was a screaming competition to see who could scream the loudest. The winner would open Knightmare alongside King Arthur. Charlotte Jackson was the winner, congratulations!

After the ribbon was cut we had one hour of ERT on Knightmare.
