I've been a Burnley fan for around 17 years now. The 25th May 2009 will be etched on my brain for eternity. I've waited practically all my life for this moment, I was at Wembley in 1994 to see us beat Stockport County but that wasn't for a Premier League place. So, I now have seen Burnley win at the old and new Wembley Stadium, quite something really.
So yes, Burnley won promotion the top flight in English football for the first time in 33 years. The day it's self was unforgettable, the Stadium is tremendous, although it has no infrastructure what so ever, quite shocking really for a £1 Billion Stadium.
Attendance: 80,518.
